非行少年には対人相互作用の問題があることが知られている。本研究では、少年院に入所する非行少年を対象として写真の人物が表している感情として適切な言語ラベルを回答する課題を行った。非行少年群では統制群と比べて嫌悪表情の認識成績が低く、怒りと取り違えやすいことが示された。他者の表情の中に敵意を読み取りやすい傾向が他者との対人コミュニケーションの困難さを生み出していることが示唆される。
